A Little Photography Too ...

Hello again chums :)
You wont be restricted to seeing only my drawings on this blog, i want to share some of my (verry!) amateur photographs with you too :) Ive replaced my old camera recently ; i owned a Pentax Optio 60 compact but now i have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W110. My old cam had gotten faulty; I couldve gotten it fixed (it started showing stripes accross the screen) but i was too lazy and wasnt too impressed with my cam anyways so i went for the Sony...
The photos below are all taken with my Pentax, no Sony yet ! I only have very little to show you anyways, but im hoping to go out and capture more (gotta diss work somehow and squeeze photoshooting activity in between my drawing time!)...Here goes :

ORDER INFO & CONDITIONS

Oookay now lets get into the juicy part were ill be giving you details on the sketching process ...
Lets go :

  • The price of the drawings is categorized into "paper size" and the drawings are drawn out only from black pencil not colored pencils, crayons, or water color, etc (some drawings can have some color touches/effects added to them, but not onto the entire picture).
  • I need you to send me VERY CLEAR and HIGH RESOLUTION digital photographs of the person/subject you want me to draw (1024 pixels is preferred). Blurry and small pictures wont do im afraid :( The photos must be colored, not black and white ( im able to capture the contrasts and light much better from color photos). If possible , it would be good if you could send me more than 1 picture so that i can choose the best possible one that can be drawn. If you choose to send me more than one picture ,make sure you indicate which photo you would most like for it to be drawn .
  • Frames, accessories etc are not included . You will only be getting the drawing in perfect condition in its original ,non-framed state, placed in a nylon file and wrapped up in paper. It will be rolled up and put in a hard carton cylinder container.
  • The drawings take between 1 - 2 months to get completed. This period can be shorter or longer depending on my work load. Please give out your orders by keeping that in mind. Important note : because of the emaculate work that goes into the drawings and the time they take up, i cannot do 2 drawings at once. If i am working on a drawing at the time you have placed your order then i can only start working on your order when the current drawing is complete. First orders are done first :) So hurrry !!!
  • I am normally a portrait drawer..I generally draw head or head+top part of body ...not the full body.But...if you want me to draw the full body too you must realize that more time and effort will be going into the work and the prices will naturally increase. Email me for details.
  • Payment method : details will be discussed through my email (zketcher@hotmail.com). Fee must be delivered first before i start working on the drawing
  • Cargo : The cargo fees belong to you if the fee is above 15 US dollars. Otherwise, you do not pay for your cargo.

PRICES :

  1. A3 sized paper : 300 US Dollars
  2. B4 sized paper : 250 US Dollars

NOTE : 20% is added to the price for the 2nd person/subject in the drawing. This does not apply for B4 size; only one (1) character will be drawn on a B4 size paper.

The Blog World Just Earned Itself A New Blogger ... oh yey

Hey ya :)

This is my first ever blog.....Ive never been a blog person, and i know ı probably never will be , atleast not like the bad ass bloggers out there that follow and update blogs religiosly!! But it was about time i gave this a shot...So, heeere gooes....

Im mainly here to let you all out there know that i am a portrait sketcher and i am here to do your portraits for you! But other than just my sketches, you can also find some very amatuer photography of mine, and basically any topic that has somehow effected my day, my life in some way .... sorry
,but i will post it even if it is boring..so tough luck :D

I first began sketching portraits for my friends for fun, although i never gave them the original drawings themselves :D.. but in time it grew into soemthing that i could give to my friends as a gift on special ocassions, and soon i began to get requests from my friends so that they could give a sketch for their own friends too!
Giving a pencil sketch to someone is a great unique gift which will undoubtedly make your friend treasure it forever and value it for the rest of their lives, or even pass it on to their next generation!! Wether it be for your family, your best friend, your spouse, your loved one, your pet tarantula ; you can immortalize them and make them live forever in a hand drawn sketch ...
Although you may want to reconsider making a tarantula live on your wall forever :D ...(personally i wouldnt mind hehe)

Be back soon in my next post with the details that you need about the terms and conditions of the sketches!
